Hmm, last post 28 August… bad me. Obviously you can tell I’ve been busy… mostly with final year project work. Wow that project is a lot of work. Oh well, 5 more weeks…
In other news (well, the main headline) – I lost my Anton’s virginity on Sunday. For those of you who haven’t yet seen or heard of Anton’s, here’s how its Melbourne Shopping Secrets card describes it: “Both swinging sophisticates and switched-on corporates cut a fine figure in Anton’s. Modern menswear influenced by Hollywood’s Golden Era — it’s easy to pretend your surname’s Sinatra in these suavely finished suits.” Having wandered in there on very many occasions in the past, and leaving again having only gawked and gaped at the clothes, and goggled at the prices (and once – but only once – tried something on), I finally tried on a red frilly pirate-looking shirt I had been eyeing off for a while, and was so impressed by the fact that it fit quite well that I bought it before I knew what I was doing. Whoops… so now I have a new shirt. (Strictly speaking, it’s a “spencer” shirt, and what Anton’s call a “pirate” shirt is similar, but with less frills and more elaborate buttons.) Here it is:

In other other news, while the harry potter jumper is progressing slowly, I have knitted a pair of gloves to keep my interest up. The left glove is considerably longer than the right glove, and I think I might re-do the left glove, but nevertheless, here they are…
